I have the marriage certificate on 4 October 1875 for John Hughes (widower of Penyffridd, aged 46, farm labourer) marrying Elizabeth Hughes (spinster of Penyffridd, age 40, farm labourer, daughter of Griffith Hughes, deceased, copper miner)
This is certainly the Elizabeth Hughes from the 1871 census living then with her daughter Jane Thomas.
But is it "our" Jane Thomas, Answer seems to be that I have not found the birth cert for this Jane Thomas
