notes
Mary Brooke's death certificate gives her as a spinster and a servant. The death was notified by Thos Grant, occupier of St Johns Terrace. CW Grant records her as the sister of Charles Piper (below)
Bombardier Charles Piper (3136 480). Charles Pipers death certificate shows he lived at 17 Greggs Lane, and died of Nephritis Pneunomia at Cork St Hospital. He was probably a first cousin of Thomas'. He is also probably the Bombadier Charles Piper, RHA, no 3136 for whom my grandfather had a long service and good conduct medal in his possession. More details on Charles Piper
